Yoga Nidra Workshop

Combine the benefits of the breath, flowing asana and aroma therapy from exotic and mesmerizing essential oils with the relaxation of Yoga Nidra.

This class begins with the use of oils and sequences through a Vinyasa style flow (movement with breath) that grows from a gentle flow and builds on itself through the use of Moon salutations, standing and seated poses to open the physical body, and work out the kinks of the day. Once the body is ready, the mind will calm and open. Coming into a supported and comfortable position the practice finishes with a Yoga Nidra Practice, a guided relaxation, to relax and heal the bodies systems.

Benefits of Practice: Yoga Nidra induces the relaxation response, your body’s healing state where revitalization and regeneration occur. Your body knows exactly what to do to attain–and maintain–perfect health and equilibrium, but you need to turn on the healing switch. Yoga Nidra is that healing switch that brings us effortlessly, compassionately, and rapidly out of the fight-or-flight state and into the healing state. This is a gentle and restorative style practice, all levels are welcome and no yoga experience is necessary.
